Middle Ear Infection

This kind of infection happens behind the eardrum. This usually has pus trapped in the middle ear part of the ear near the facial bone. Complications from a common cold is the cause of this infection, especially with children.

Inner Ear Infection

Inner ear infections are very rare. This is usually caused by a virus, where inflammation occurs. Symptoms for this infection include ringing in your ears, dizziness, and loss of balance. This kind of ear infection needs immediate medical attention.
